ABOUT US
Elder Expeditions is operated by, Elder Expeditions, Inc., a company formed in 2009, for the purpose of creating multi-sport adventure travel for seniors, i.e. active persons who are 50 and over. Elder Expeditions’ destinations include non-traditional, "off-the-beaten-track" locations with activities that range from the exceptional to the eccentric.
The Elder Expeditions team consists of a group of talented and dedicated individuals who have spent many years engaged in one or more active sports, who enjoy unconventional travel as well as the company of people from different backgrounds and cultures. Each team member offers his or her own expertise in specific areas of operation in order to assure that all of our trips function smoothly and that our participants have a fun, a safe and a memorable experience.
President and founder of Elder Expeditions. A life long adventure traveler, Dea created the company as a vehicle through which to share her love of travel, sports, adventure and staying fit with her contemporaries. When not on horseback roaming the hills and forests of Georgia, Dea is likely to be found kayaking the local rivers and creeks. Linda
Liaison for eastern United States. A water sports enthusiast, an experienced kayaker and a creative camper, Linda, a Georgia native, has spent many years exploring the waterways of the waterways of the eastern United States. Deepali
Medical Advisor. A native of India, Deepali takes time from her Georgia medical practice to indulge her interest in water sports.
Bev
Program Coordinator, Bev is an RN by profession. Multi-talented and multi-lingual, this Georgia native is an adept sportswoman with a particular facility with horses and boats. She has an international background and has traveled widely throughout the United States and abroad. Deb
Trip Coordinator. Deb is a woman of the great outdoors, particularly fond of the oceans and lakes. She is skilled in numerous sports including water skiing, kayaking, tennis, biking, and hiking. Deb, a native of Florida, currently resides in Georgia. Lenka
Liaison for Central Europe, Lenka is an experienced international tour guide with a professed love of history, culture and outdoor sports. A Czech native, Lenka is fluent in both Czech and English; she is conversant in several other languages as well. Lenka currently resides in Vienna. Yasin
Liaison for the Mediterranean Region, Yasin, originally from Turkey, has resided in Austria for many years. His love of the outdoors plus his long experience in the travel / tourism industry has given him an extraordinary ability to effectively interact with adventure travelers from different cultures. Yasin is fluent in several languages including English.
